A Letter From Our President
North Akron Savings Bank will be making an important change that will benefit all customers.
One of our top priorities is providing superior customer service - and that drives the technology we implement. This July, we will upgrade our computer system. We expect the actual transition to take approximately 48 hours. Therefore, we will close our offices on Friday, July 18, 2003, at 4 p.m. All offices, including ATM machines and our telephone banking system will be out of service from 4 p.m. on that Friday, until 12 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2003. Please note that you will be able to use your ATM and debit cards as normal with the exception of using North Akron Savings Bank ATMs. When the bank reopens on Monday, July 21, the new system will be in place.
You will be receiving two bank statements for the month of July. Your first statement will run from July 1 through July 18, 2003. Your second statement, produced after our conversion, will run from July 21 through July 31, 2003.
Some of the changes you will notice are the immediate credit and availability of ATM deposits to your accounts, improved telephone banking services and faster in-office transactions. Additionally, mortgage customers will no longer need their loan passbook to make a monthly payment. Instead, we will send monthly bills and receipts. Customers will be able to make payments by mail or in person at any of our six convenient locations.
Please contact your local branch office if you have questions about these changes.
At North Akron Savings Bank, we appreciate every one of our customers. We show that appreciation every day by striving to provide each customer with the best service we can offer. Our new computer technology will help us to serve you even better on the spot.
Very truly yours,
Stephen D. Hailer, President and CEO
